Being such a massive fan of Sleater-Kinney it’s inexplicable that I never managed to see them until after drummer Janet Weiss left the band. She is my drums hero and I thought I might never get to see her play … until now. So excited to be right at the front to experience her and Sam Coombes deliver a powerhouse set to a packed and enthusiastic Glasgow crowd.

I managed to climb down off Cloud 9 just in time for a quick chat, selfie and poster purchase afterwards. What a night. Life (almost) complete. Wonderful!
