I missed seeing Anaïs the last two times in Edinburgh and was determined to catch this one and was so glad! I’ve been a fan since I first heard my  ‘album of 2012’ folk opera ‘Hadestown’. This time she was on her own and that’s my favourite way of seeing artists who sometimes have bands and sometimes not.

Her tartan skirt was specially for us and she creates a great atmosphere with wonderful storytelling songs. A very special, intimate concert culminating with encore audience singalong of ‘Goodnight Irene’.

      Hi Graeme, wow, it’s great to hear from you! Yes, all surviving if not quite thriving and I hope you are doing well. Missing gigs so much, though I was lucky to catch Anais in Glasgow just before the world stopped. Great to see you reposting, can’t wait to see them all again. Cheers. George

        thanks George… I’m about to upload the videos from late 2014, Belfast and Selkirk.
        I removed my channel last year due to a copyright issue.
        Hope to avoid such problems this time!!
