First time taking Jan to see TSDBTB and she was well impressed. Good stuff. Will surely see them again! -
The B-52s – ABC, Glasgow – 12 August 2013
I’m such a long time fan I was happy to go through to Glasgow on my own to catch them, might not get the chance again!Loved the show and a few more adventurous songs on the setlist including ‘Mesopotamia’ and ‘Girl From Ipanema Goes to Greenland’ … Magic! Not quite the same without Keith Strickland on guitar, but … It’s the B52s (and Cindy Wilson of course! ;-). ) !

Amanda Palmer – HMV Picture House, Edinburgh – 17 July 2013
First time seeing Amanda, and not just on her own or with two-piece Dresden Dolls, a whole big band this time, her Grand Theft Orchestra, touring her new album Theatre Is Evil. And a very OTT theatrical show it was too, full of dramatic moments as well as extended and intimate banter. All with some varied and engaging music. H er fans are very fervent and loved the running around and crowdsurfing … so did I … a wild occasion. Impressed!Attended by George

Mindy Smith – St Andrews in the Square, Glasgow – 03 July 2013
Ronnie introduced me to Nashville based singer/songwriter Mindy and though I like her he is probably her biggest Scottish fan. 5 years since we saw her and though she seems to have conquered the nerves from last time, at the moment she is still not a very polished performer. But we love the songs and she got throuigh them to give us a nice night we all enjoyed.
