A perfect festival day out at Bothwell Scarecrow Festival today. A sunny day, a big crowd and loads of families enjoying themselves.

A 9 song set with back to back bangers and most of us were pleased to see “Somewhere In My Heart” make a rare appearance:)

Thanks to all the Festival folk for looking after us, especially Jim, Stevie and the brilliant sound crew. We hope to return one day 🙂

We had a blast playing at The ‘A Club’ at Merchants Hall in Edinburgh last night. Our first all seater/table service show! Two sets of indie bangers and, if you look closely, a walkabout singer….

Thanks to our followers, friends and family who came to see us! We are taking a wee break and then back for 2 gigs in the west in September!

It was great to be back at The Glad Cafe in Glasgow last night. Someone must have turned on the heating as it was unbelievably hot! Being in Glasgow we had to play Orange Juice’s ‘Dying Day’ which was from the Postcards Records era from where we took our name. £600 raised for The RISE Collective , thanks to everyone that came down.

Cheers also to John Alexander and The Standard Grades – 90s Acoustic Cover Band for playing 2 great sets as well!

We had great fun at our midnight gig at Whistlebinkies last night ! A few of the band had an pre-gig nap but we were on top form, thanks to everyone that came down. We debuted new songs by Joe Jackson and Elvis Costello, definitely getting a late 70s New Wave vibe just now!

Thanks to all at The Ferry, The Spiders on Mars for the support slot and all the dancers and singers who came see us. We love The Ferry and hope to be back there soon. Special thanks to Alan Borland for the great pics

Our first public gig of the year at @whistlebinkies on Sunday. Why did we leave it so long?

8 new songs including tunes by bands we’ve never played before like New Order, House of Love, Magazine and The Lotus Eaters. Always great fun to play there and thanks to the many folk that came down to see us!

Our first performance of 2023 on Saturday night saw us play an extra special show for ‘Pretty In Pink’ Donna’s birthday. Such a lovely crowd and Donna got to play air guitar for the encore. We played some old favourites, some of which will be heading to the subs bench as we’ve got plenty of new songs on the way.

We’ve got 3 extra special gigs booked already for 2023, Mums the word on those for now but you won’t want to miss them….!!
